ο + ι -> i οικογένεια (family), οικονομία (economy), οι άνθρωποι (the people)
ο + υ -> u ουρανός (sky), πού; (where?), κουδούνι(bell)
υ + ι -> iiυιός (son), υιοθεσία (adoption)

αυ, ευ Combinations - Examples

If "αυ" and "ευ" are found in a word the sound changes.
If these two letters are followed by a vowel or by β,ρ,γ,λ,ν,δ,μ,ζ then they are read as "ev - εβ".
If they are followed by any other consonant, they are read as "ef - εφ".
